Sattvic, Rajasic and Tamasicare the three categories of food by Ayurveda. These different categories affect your body in different ways which are necessary for you to know.
- Sattvic Diet: The Sattvic diet intake by an individual promotes clarity, harmony and balance in the body. It mainly includes salads, fruits, vegetables, red rice, herbal drink (tea especially), cow milk, jaggery, honey, nuts and so on.
- Rajasic Diet: The Rajasic Diet induces energy and action in the body. Rajasic diet promotes food includes Basmati Rice, paneer, cream, sugar, yeast, garlic, onion, vinegar, salted food, canned food and so on.
- Tamasic Diet: As per the Ayurveda, it is not good to intake the Tamasic diet as it evokes darkness and grounding of mind. Tamasic Diet mainly includes foods such as beef, chicken, fish, eggs, alcohol, mushroom, tea, coffee, fried foods and so on.
